Brent plays in a number of different configurations to meet your needs!

Solo Performances - At solo gigs Brent typically focuses on his original songwriting and throws in a few of his favorite covers for kicks. Stylistically the tunes range from mellow introspective ballads to upbeat hopeful celebrations of the human experience. Brent Alan and his Funky Friends - Brent Alan lays down his funkiest, most soulful grooves with his new seven-piece electric dream band. Their dedication to sending dancers into orbit remains unrivaled. Check out the personnel! Uber-bassist Patrick Pearsall teams up with drummer Mitch Peay (of El Dante) to guarantee a solid funky foundation. Spreading out the jams on percussion, Dale Largent and Shireen Amini keep it dangerous in all the right ways. Lay some icing on the cake with Scott Hirsch on keyboards and J. Brent Alan Trio - Sometimes it is nice to have some cake without all that icing. This acoustic trio gets down to basics with Brent playing acoustic guitar, Patrick Pearsall on bass, and Shireen Amini on the cajon, other percussion and backup vocals. Funky acoustic grooves soothe the soul and ignite the imagination!

Lino - Brent just recently teamed up with Lino, a brand-new resident of Central Oregon. Lino is a diverse musical composer and guitarist with styles ranging from smooth jazz to classical...from latin to new age. In this instrumental combo, Brent's guitar playing supports and expands Lino's moving arrangements and accomplished guitar chops.
